I have been fortunate to be very close to the stage on both sides actually at the previous two shows I've been to. Tonight I was straight back from the front of the stage and it was just as good. The sound actually was a lot better and I could understand the words a little more.
The thing that was sooo good about this show was the diversity from the previous one. 11 O'Clock Tick Tock, All I Want is You, just a couple of the awesome songs they played for this second show. THE FLY was simply amazing. Bono sticking to the stacked lights behind the stage was the coolest thing especially with all the light changing on him.
Did I see the fan correctly up there with bono, was he like in his boxers? It was weird, wish he would have pulled a woman up there with him on with or without you.
Bono, would do well to get into a pulpit and preach. His passion and reference to scripture, jesus and the poor actually made my night. I walked out of the MCI Center along some street and wouldn't you know it there go the mercedes benz's with Bono and the guys windows down and waving to the crowd. I hope they come back in the fall, and I hope they come to Raleigh, NC. Shorter drive. - DB
