I think this boy band has outdone themselves. U2 played for 2 hrs 25 minutes -- which I think is the longest on the tour so far. They pulled out everything they had up their sleeves. I don't think they left anything out. Stay seemed very impromptu and almost brought tears to my eyes. It seemed as though I was peeking in on a private moment. I found no flaws except for the fact it had to end.
The band was right when they said it was all about the music. The crowd was great, and I was shocked as to how well they knew the new stuff. Bono could've sat back and listened to the crowd take over!
They brought a young (about 11) girl onto the stage and danced with her. He then joked afterward that "I guess this means we're a family show now". He had a couple of great one-liners.
I don't think anyone left early and would've stayed well into the night. Bono came back at the end of the show and said "this was an amazing, amazing night" and 16,000+ people agreed.
Thanks for an unbelievable night....
