My third U2 gig,the other being at the NEC for the last tour and one in 1987 I think.Fantastic to see a decent light show rather than the rather stark one a couple of years back. This was the best show of the three. The stadium was a great venue, helpful staff, clean and airey.Had a couple of pints in a pub nearby which was playing U2 loud and long.Nice summers day and people were at the gig before 1pm to queue. Those in the forward standing pit got a great view as all the band at various times went up close and personal.Thesecurity satff were giving out water in cups. The water was in plastic dustbins.Set was superb and I could notfault it.Brilliant encore of Vertigo to send us al off rocking!Final thing ..the people that come to U2 seem pleasant people. All ages here form 8 to 70,lots of smiles not a chav in sight.Worth every penny of the £55 and a day to remember for the rest of my life!Nice point.. at the end Bono gave an affectionate pat to Larry on his shoulder ,Larry returned it and looked into his eyes. These guys really get on!
