I travelled over from the UK to catch this Elevation Tour opener. After NINE hours queuing outside the National Car Rental Centre I got inside the heart shaped stage. I couldn't believe I was on the barrier right in front of THE EDGE! What an amazing gig, from the very start with the band just walking on stage house lights still on and ripping into ELEVATION. The show lasted about two hours but felt like a fast ten minutes. The highlight of the show for me was the re-working of THE FLY.
After the show Dallas gave me a U2/Edge guitar pick. It's now in a frame with a photo hanging pride of place in my house.
A reminder of a truly AMAZING show.
