Bono in black pleather coat, black pants. Edge with toque and 5 shirt, Larry in blue shout-sleeved shirt open to chest. Adam in cargo pants and long-sleeved T.
Bono was simply awesome to behold. Absolutely powerful performance. Didn't miss a note. Ran all over the stage. Climbing. Playing to every person in that crowd. It is almost impossible to take your eyes off him. He's like a lightning rod. He sang every song from his heart, soul and guts. Truly amazing. All my favourite parts of my favourite songs made me shiver.
The show starts with the house lights on for "Beautiful Day". They just walk on stage.
The crowd was screaming during "Elevation" ……MOLE…HOLE….SOUL…CONTROL
Bono plays piano during "The Sweetest Thing". Very cool. Everyone was surprised when he sat at the piano.
Bono wore his shades for only a few songs. It was clear blue eyes for the rest of the night, except when he closes them to belt out part s of songs.
Edge was cool, Adam was laid-back and grinning, Larry was down to business.
When Bono introduces them, Larry does a walk around the whole heart. Adam goes half way and hugs Bono.
Edge stays at the heart for "Until the End of the World"
There is a good deal of room in the heart. The first 300 GA ticket-holders in line get into the heart. There is a great view of the band at all times.
They have these sheer panels which drop from the ceiling onto which revolving designs are projected. It makes for great Bono shadows especially during "New York" when he shakes like at the beginning of the Zoo TV Tour.
Bono has a great green guitar. He was thrashing and the sweat was flying from his dark hair.
When Bono is talking at the stage you can hear his voice on the floor. Cool. Sometimes you can hear him singing from the stage over the loudspeakers.
They all looked fabulous and healthy
He was totally grinning with mischief during "One" When he signs "Did you come here to play Jesus? I DID"
Bono kept breaking his guitar picks. They are lined up on his Mike stand.
There is video of Charleton Heston spouting off about how guns aren't bad. We booed him!
There are really cool small video units that come up from the floor during "Mysterious Ways". The screens have silhouettes of belly dancers. Bono is laying on top of a unit
Happily, there was no girl pulled up from the show to dance with Bono
Bono took a huge sign from someone in the crowd that read "I Dream Out Loud" he wandered around with it like a man wearing a sandwich board in the depression
He has a hand-held spotlight for "Bullet the Blue Sky"
"Stuck in a Moment" dedicated to Michael Hutchense
Bono pulled a harmonica from his back pocket during "Desire" and played like crazy
Bono thanked the crowd their life and thanked the Almighty
Bono said their families were at the show
