Flew to Denver from Kansas City for the show. Musically the band are in top form, no complaints with the set list or energy level from the band. References thoughout the show to the Under a Blood Red Sky show at Red Rocks were really cool. The sound, for all the hype and cutting edge technology U2 claim to be using was a little distorted and muddy. This could be a Pepsi Center issue also, as I've heard not so great things about the acoustics there. My one HUGE complaint is that U2 have left fans in the ends of the arena out in the cold in regards to the video production. Which is one of my favorite parts of their show. If you are seated behind either stage at the ends of the arena, you are COMPLETELY shut out of the video portion of the show. NONE of the huge screen is visible. Majorly disappointed with this especially from a band like U2 who have been so innovative with their live productions. All you have to look at from this vantage point is a video screen about the size of my living room tv. This screen mostly shows performance shots of the band during the show. Musically great show, but the U2 claim of every seat in the house being a great one simply doesn't live up to that standard on this tour.
