Wow, what a concert!! I'm just now coming down to earth enough to begin a review after attending both Atlanta shows over the weekend. It was a family affair as my 61-yr. old father, my wife, 12-yr. old and 8-yr. old daughters attended the show. (This is probably the band's marketing dream as our family of fans definitely spans 4 generations!)
We had 3 GA tickets and two reserved courtesy of great friend so we put my Dad and his 8-yr. old granddaughter in the reserved seats and my wife, 12-yr. old and myself lucked out and made it inside the ellipse. We were front left in front of Edge and absolutely had a blast. Energy was amazing and we hit "lift-off"-as Bono says- several times during the show. Highlights were City, Vertigo, Mysterious Ways, Beautiful Day, Miss Sarajevo --Bono hit the high tenor notes his late father would be so proud of--Pride, Streets, All Because of You and the close with "40". Paul McGuiness even came over to my daughter and I and gave us a copy of the setlist. Thanks Paul to both you and the band for giving all of the fans a great life as well!!
Attached are some pix for everyone to review. Enjoy...
I'll post another detailed review soon as well as a summary of the Sat. 11/19 show which was even more spectacular.
Best,
JT
