I watched this show through my nine-year-old daughter's eyes and what I saw was wonder, excitement, awe, joy and beauty. We have been looking forward to this night for months and flew down from Boston for the weekend. I feel like I am a spoiled fan because I am accustomed to the Boston shows and I was unsure of what to expect from an Atlanta crowd. No need to worry, though, because it seems that Atlantans (?) love U2 as much as Bostonians.
The show was phenomenal, as they always are; how do our Dublin boys do it night after night after night, I wonder? However, the first encore which started with Until The End of the World and The Fly was absolutely, positively life-altering.
Thank you, U2, for giving my daughter the best night of her life. And, from the bottom of my heart I thank you, too, for a lifetime of lifting my spirits, filling my soul and enlightening my mind.
