This was my second U2 show, the first being the Madison Popmart show. We decided to go to this one on a whim deciding the day before to ditch work and drive to Detroit from NW Chicago. We were starting to rethink our decision when going across Michigan we saw car after car in ditches and numerous accidents. The weather was just horrible, but we made it there with no problem.
Comparing it to the show at Madison, I must say that I liked the Madison show more. the sound quality in Madison was just so much better, which you really can't blame on the band. Hell the Silverdome is a football stadium not made very well for concerts. I liked the fact that the sets were similiar, but then again different. Sunday Bloody Sunday was just so touching with Edge doing it by himself. All the girls up on stage was so funny. Halloween night, and the bday celebration made it so memorable. All in all a great show and worth the road trip.
