a band called "bad brains" opened this show. it wasn't sold out, and the tickets were under 3 bucks, as the rainbow music hall would offer these special nights to preview new bands. i remember that bono was wearing a white puffy shirt, and adam had this intense blonde afro. i thought they played "i will follow" twice (once during the set and once during the encores)......
