After being a fan for the last 17 years, i finally made it to a U2 concert. And I was not disappointed.
The show was beyond any superlative I could manage in this short space, but suffice it to say it was a magical experience.
Some saw the Beatles, others the Stones, and some managed to see the King, but I was there to see the most definitive presence in the consciousness of music today, U2.
And it was well worth the wait.
The show brought out a wide range of ages, some of us from the days of the "BOY" album and on thru a generation to the youth of America there who should find a voice in the songs of U2 to shape their social consciousness in years to come.
I won't wait another 17 years to catch up with them again!
