I saw the show last time they were in Toronto and have seen them 5 other times on this tour. The guys sounded fantastic-no doubt. They put on a spectacular show. Bono's voice was fantastic and I heard no real blips.
I was hoping for the non typical setlist but that is what we got. (that is what i get for over researching...no surprise).I was praying for AIWIY or Out of Control but that didn't happen. Out of Control would have really jacked the place.
Toronto has always been a very uninspired place to see a U2 show. The crowd has always been planted in their seats and this show was no different. I was on the floor and it was stellar. Electric. I looked around during Streets, SBS...people sitting. Unreal.
This tour is almost over and it is time for the boys to regroup and start fresh. Not many unscripted parts last night .Arena's next??
Also, a piece of etiquette....the floor is standing....it is not cool to bud in front of people who have been there for 3/4 od the concert and put your girlfriend on your shoulders. Go to the back and do that.
I guess i am grumpy because I know the tour is ending and they won't be around again for a while. They were awesome (as always) and they truly are the best band in the world.
