You know, one thought in particular struck me as I embarked on an ill-affordable jolly to Canada to catch U2 in Montreal & Toronto over 3 nights. For me these shows would represent U2 gigs No. 40-42. For my concert-buddy (let's call him Michael) these would be among his first. And seeing these shows through the eyes of someone with a much more sensibly balanced life brought it home to me. U2 truly are amazing live. They're having fun & (in my humble view) sounding better than ever.
Michael now wants to go to Moncton.
I imagine my wife would probably be getting quite chatty with a divorce lawyer if I suggested the same...
I'll upload some photos from the shows if/when my meagre brain can work out how to...
