This was my hometown show.....so I was quite pumped for it. The GA line and security were great. I couldn't wait to have U2 come back to my city.
Perhaps I was spoiled after travelling to see U2 so many times. Nashville - blind guitar player. Chicago - One Tree Hill.
I really wanted Toronto to have something special happen. Something noteworthy. After the crowd roar of Montreal, it seems my hometown was a wee bit conservative. Perhaps the suits had taken over the Rogers Centre.
Regardless, the show was well done. The boys performed without a hitch..... Highlights were Bono carrying a Canadian flag in his back pocket and making reference to it during a song.
"The world needs more Canada" - Bono
I'm looking forward to two more dates on the tour before it ends.
