U2 The Joshua Tree 2017 at the Rose Bowl. My 15th time seeing the band live, with the first on the orginal Joshua Tree Tour in San Diego on April 14, 1987. This was an AMAZING night and in my opinion a great gift to us long time fans. To be able go hear the Joshua Tree played in full was a dream come true! The band sounded so good, The Edge was ON FIRE! Highlights were everywhere, from the show start Sunday Bloody Sunday to the inclusion of one of my all time favorites A Sort of Homecoming, the heartfelt and poignant tribute to Chris Cornell on Running to Stand Still, the entire Joshua Tree album and then Bad and I Will Folllow to end a magnificient evening.
Thank you to Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry. You have given this fan many thrills over the last 30 plus years. I think of the the early mornings, going to work listening to Red Hill Mining Town, or Trip Through Your Wires, and wishing I could have seen them performed live...Well wish no more, this U2 fans dream was made complete last night! MUCH LOVE and THANK YOU all so much!!!☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
