Erasing memories of mediocre stadium shows of the past, Paul, Adam, Larry and Edge scorched the Rose Bowl with the best of the 57 U2 Concerts We have attended. U2 live shows are never the same and never get old. With many stars in attendance tonight, the real stars were playing with greatness tonight, taking ok new songs from NLOTH
and making them great. Their new material sounded Magnificent, highlited by the I'll Go Crazy. After a completely different rendention of the song, Bono took us into an increadable segway of Sunday Bloody Sunday, using the Isreal and Palestian conflict as a new visual backdrop on the largest concert screen ever produced. The spaceship like creature that doubled as the stage and concert screen brought the entire 96,000 as close to the stage as being in the front row. An amazing tour de force by the worlds best band of today or any day. All in attandance tonight will agree. The new songs and the aged songs were Magnificent, it was a Beautiful Day, Bono taking us to new Elevation, his voice perfect, the sound great. Our only regret is waiting until next year when the 2010 American shows return in July. We Thank You for the Best Concert Ever!!!
