Well, what a show and what a spectacle!!! The stage was just an awesome sight to see first hand. The Black Eyes Peas were great, especially the cameo by Slash for Sweet Child o' Mine. There was not one empty seat in the house when the Peas took the stage.
Now, on to the show. I thought the boys were on their game tonight. This is by far the best sounding outdoor show they have done, better then Pop Mart and Zoo TV. The sound was crystal clear and you could hear every lyric Bono sung tonight. Personally, I am not a fan of outdoor stadium shows, but the energy in the Rose Bowl was amazing!!! The usual setlist, I think having Steets in the encore has come off well, however after With or Without You, they should end with one of their signature songs like Bad, which is one of my all time favorite U2 songs. Moment of Surrender should be in the main setlist.
Hopefully when they return to Anaheim next year, the setlist will be different. Would love to hear Stand Up Comedy and Fez!!! Come on boys, let's shake things up. See you all in Anaheim 2010!!!
