AWESOME!!! I was one of well over 50,000 fans who saw a breath taking show in Roundhay Park. Like Zooropa, U2 have again pulled off a fantastic audio/visual experience.
The songs, a mixture between the old and the new, really came to life when played live, some took on a whole new meaning. At times it was difficult to believe the images flying across a 150 by 55 foot screen, or the 18 spotlights soaring through the clouds.
The show has received a lot of bad press, U2 and the Popmart tour have come under the hammer. It's all a load of bullsh*t -- just ask the people who were there.
