We sat in sec 116 6 rows from the floor just to the right of the ellipse. This show absolutely rocked!
Until the End of the World was a very nice surprise. All I really needed was that song or Bad to be completely satisfied and they came through!
Sunday Bloody Sunday was the best version I have ever heard, live or recorded live. It had extra special meaning when Bono shouted "this is your song now" several times. The audience echoing "No More!" No matter if you are conservative or liberal, everyone was on the same page singing their hearts out with the clear meaning of that song - war sucks!
Some reviews said the audience could have been more enthusiastic but I can assure you that from the lower sections, they were very loud! After going to the 5/22 show in Philadelphia and sitting in the nosebleed section, I was very disappointed in that audience and needed this Tampa show for reassurance that fans are still nuts about this band like I am. (to the Philly audience defense, it was actually somewhat unsettling to stand on the very narrow, steep, steps up there in our nosebleed section with the feeling that you might fall forward and down onto the row in front of you if you got too excited!) There WERE many people around me OLDER than my 41 years and they were screaming like they were 21 just as my wife and I were. Miss Sarajevo was really something. U2 is the BEST!
