This was my 13th overall U2 concert, but first and only Vertigo show. Though I had followed all the set lists over the tour (and generally knew what was to come) I was not disappointed in the performance.
City of Blinding Lights works fantastic as an opener, spilling into the frenetic fun of Vertigo. I was most pleased by the Achtung Baby songs early, and was just as disappointed at missing out on Zoo Station, The Fly or Wild Horses in the encore.
Although I like the songs, I really could go without hearing I still Haven't Found, Stuck in a Moment and Pride. I'd prefer to hear some different (read: less frequently performed) songs in their place.
Overall, it was a great show and much more visually daring than Elevation. Good theatrics, visuals, crowd interaction and emotional highs (Yahweh, Streets, Bullet). Another home run by U2!
