Well this was worth the wait, I bought my tickets the 1st day on sale (March I think it was) missed London shows because I moved to Florida and have been biting at the bit waiting for Tampa. So we arrived at the GA line around 11.30 we were late, I expected to see around 500-600 in line and was 211.

I see what people are saying about the Tampa fans because arriving that late elsewhere I'm sure would not have got such a low number. We got right to the front, the right corner (by the walk way to the ellipse) now this was a great spot. The band spent allot of time in this area and we had room to move being surrounded by 3 rails.

For my 1st US show I was surprised by the "fans" once again, with people constantly leaving the ellipse during the show and leaving early. This does piss you off when you wanted to get in there so bad.

But that did not dampen the whole experience we meet some great people in the GA (you probably know who you are if your reading this) and well done to the Guy from Orlando for getting into the Ellipse on his 7th (and final) show this tour.

I've never been so close to the band which probably made this the best U2 concert for me (and I was at Slane, but up over the hill and far away) I've some great pics (on flickr, under chowie) with more to come soon.

Bono's voice was just awesome, again during the 2 Elevation gigs I was at he was struggling. The best version of Mysterious Ways I've ever heard live and my 1st U2 show that finished with 40, would have liked Electric Co. etc but I understand why they play the more well known songs.

I'm thinking I would love to get to Mexico next year, let's go Mec-ico, go Vertigo..
