What a night!!!
I saw 3 U2 concerts before (Popmart/Elevation/Vertigo Brussels), and this was by far the best concert I've ever seen. Not just the best U2 concert I've seen, the best concert ever I've seen. But first I would like to gongratulate Starsailor with their stunning performance. What a voice!!!! This is a verry promising band. Snow Patrol was a bit disapointing. But hey what.... the 4 boys (not men) came on stage, and they rocked from the first minute to the last. Bono was singing verry powerfull, Adam had more fun then ever, and The Edge, is he on opium??? Anyway, the band had a great time. There were several highlights: Bullet with butterfly wings, mystery girl, running to stand still, Sometimes you cant make it... In fact there where no highlights, it was one crazy trip in the beautifull Stade de France... Never seen better (and I've done already al lot of gigs)
I was dissapointed about the gig in Brussels, but yesterday they gave me probably the best time of my life. Thanks you 4 boys, for giving us a great moment, one to remember, and share memories about when we are old. Like: "Remember that gig in Paris 40 years ago?" then: "Yeah those where the times, today they don't play like that anymore"
I also like to react to these persons who give critics because of the setlist, which doesn't change a lot. Don't look on the internet to see what they are gonna play, and then be disapointed that you guessed the playlist wright. Thats like looking under the paper of your christmas present. And then on the 25/12 you are disapointed that you already knew what your present was gonna be.
Bono said: We hope you like the show in sergeant peppers.... And yes we did man.
Thanks for this great moment.
