u2's concert was far different from the usual ones as it did dwell on significant issues of the present time. bono and the boys do have this so-called social conscience. my spirits were lifted up when bono remembered the victims of the london bombings, myself being a resident of this lovely city. it was heart warming as well that the french were very sympathetic of our sad experience last july 7. i almost cancelled our paris trip due to the overwhelming fear in london. but i and my mate decided to push through. i was really depressed even when the show was starting to heat up--by the way starsailor gave an excellent performance--wonderful voice by the lead singer and songs by the entire band!!! the sadness seemed to have dissipated when bono and the lads began their performance. it was not a superficial high i had during the concert but a real one as i was relieved of the sadness and started seeing life again in the positive light...bono still posesses that powerful voice and the band did very well. thanks to all the french fans and to u2--the best band in the world!!!
