Staples Center Los Angeles California
We arrive late but still early enough to park in the same lot close to the Box Office as we did yesterday. Tonight we have GA floor tickets special thanks go to Big Clint for all your help...we owe you big time bro. Once again we pass on the opening act. We stop at the famous Pantry restaurant have grab some dinner. Then we head to the historic hotel Figueroa about 3 blocks from the Staples Center. When we enter Staples neither of our tickets scan us into the Ellipse. We settle in on the main floor and U2 opens the show as on opening night with City of Blinding Lights off the new CD with confetti falling down from the roof...its pretty much the same show with the exception of " The Ocean " and old fave of mine which I don't believe they had played before in a long time if ever. U2 didn't play as tight as they did on Tuesday however it is still a great show. Same encore with Unchained Melody thrown in for good measure. I can't believe all the shows we had tickets for are over... this is the greatest show on earth...if I didn't have a job and commitments I would be at the shows in San Jose, Phoenix and Denver....they will be back in November and we'll be there....have to comedown...now ....hope they change up the set list ...many great songs left off maybe in November....still no BAD or With or Without You....more to come in November...
