Greatest. Day. Ever.
I arrived at Staples Center at 4pm, just in time to see Bono and Edge arrive. Bono said a few hellos and hurried in. Edge stayed for a few minutes signing autographs.
I then proceeded to the GA line, I was about 70 in the U2.com line, good to see that $40 was good for something. Staples openned at exactly 6:30. I ended up in a group of three, and the last girl got lucky. The staff then let all 3 of us in! I ended up on the rail just center of Adam.
The show itself was brilliant. City of Blinding Lights was great live, as were all of the new songs. The crowd, which included John Cusack ;), was great. I could hear the singing from the floor, especially at the end during "40". The band was tight, Edge was ripping, Adam was having a blast smiling and laughing through the show. I loved Bono's tribute to the Pope, and the rosary was beautiful.
All in all, best live show I have ever witnessed.
