Arrived early and got a spot in the front to the left of the stage. Kanye was ordinary except for the violinist.
The atmosphere was amazing right from the start with City of Blinding Lights, followed by a great version of Vertigo. This was a highlight. I will Follow had some sound problems but I'm glad they played a Boy track. Beautiful Day had some improvisation about Sydney but he still sang 'after the floods all the colours came out' which is a favourite lyric of mine. Still Havent Found and Angel of Harlem were a welcome addition with the latter dedicated to Kylie. The rest of the songs in the first set what you expect from U2.
The 2nd encore included Party Girl which they totally messed up and Bono had to stop the song midway and call the band into a huddle. It was pure magic. And finally I would pay the ticket price again just to hear Kite. It was brilliant.
