...now for the comedown!! What an amazing, amazing weekend.
I have to say Monday's concert was the best of the three in Sydney regarding setlists. Loved "I Will Follow", one song I have wanted to hear live since falling in love with U2 20 years ago, then Party Girl, what a treat.
After waiting 26 hours (from 1pm on Thursday) at J/K gate to get right in the Elipse for Fridays concert, then sitting in B Reserve on Saturday, way too far away to really get into the feel of being at a U2 concert - although still spectacular.......my husband and I were thrilled the get D reserve then move to the balcony above A reserve and have an amazing view right above the elipse. We had the whole area to ourselves so we could bop and screem to our hearts were content.
The boys seemed so much happier and relaxed than Friday - Bono smiled and joked the whole night, would have been amazing right at centre stage with Bono spending quite a bit of time in the audience. Sunday Bloody Sunday was excellent - that kid did a great job and didn't even seem nervous, Bono's voice again was brilliant during Sometimes and Miss Sarajevo.
Loved every minute of our 5 days devoted to U2 from lining up and freezing to death, meeting heaps of amazing U2 fans, beers at the brewery, and of course seeing our boys in action...will never forget it!
