I went to Saturday nights show and thought it was awesome (my first U2 concert) and really wanted to go again on Tuesday since it was Bono's birthday. Well by a stroke of luck, I was able to get a GA ticket from Ticketmaster on Monday night. Well, that was only the start of great luck - I made it into the ellipse and was at the very front, only about 6 feet from the stage. Basically I was in heaven.
I was standing on Adam's side of the stage and he kept making me laugh because he kept making these funny faces and then he kept smiling at me, which I found quite amusing.
I thought the concert was absolutely great and definitely one of the best nights of my life. I think the only thing that would have made it better is if I was the girl Bono brought up on stage to dance on Mysterious Ways. :-)
Looking forward to seeing them again in Detroit in October - maybe I'll get as lucky as I did last night.
