I've been to probably 200 concerts in my life but this was my first u2 show ever. It was my best concert ever by far. The highlight for me was Running to Stand Still. I especially like the way they do it this year. Also LAPOE was a great suprise. It's just average on the cd but it was awesome tonight. SBS also rocked.During miracle drug bono talked about faith and how it was a good thing: faith in the future, faith in your family, faith in your friends, faith in your band mates and faith in God. In fact it is faith in God that inspires medicine to help people.
I can definately do without An Cat Dubh. That was the worst part of the show by far. My big disappointment was that they didnt play 40. Bad and 40 are two of my three favorite songs and I didn't hear either. I didnt expect to hear Bad but i thought i'd get to hear 40. I thought the crowd was just so-so. The band and show were everything i expected and more but from everything I have read I expected the crowd to have a lot more life than it did.
All in all it was great but the show i'm really looking forward to in in Milwaukee in the fall when I'll be taking my 10 year old son.
