May 10th, Chicago
I had read some negative media reviews from the May 7th show, that it seemed "tired" etc. The show May 10th could not have been better; although the acoustics of the United Center are unimpressive, Bono's voice and Edge's guitar carried the night. It didn't bother me, unlike some Chicago media critics, that the stage was very similar to the Elevation tour. I was surprised they played nothing from Pop. "Gone" is very strong in concert. I was confused when "Vertigo" was played twice but it must have been for the DVD shoot. The ZOO encore just needed "Until the End of the World". I already have tickets for September.
