My idea to drive over to the UC spur of the moment from the northside of Chicago at 8:00 was THE RIGHT DECISION!!! This show kicked ass! Thanks to the guy that sold me a GA ticket at 8:30 for 70 bucks. I was up in the 300 level on Saturday and I thought the show was great. Not gonna knock it like some people did; however, tonight was incredible. The band was on, had a ton of energy, and they shook up the setlist. It was nice to hear With or Without you and Until the End of the World. After playing Gloria, Bono made reference to playing at Park West when the were 19. Couldn't remember the name of the venue at first, but it finally came to him. Adam looked like he was having a good time tonight. Made another stroll out to see us in the middle of the floor. I think it was during Streets. The crowd really fed off of he and Bono at the edge of the Ellipse. I'll be interested to see what other people thought, but I thought this was one hell of a show. U2 are definitely the greatest.
