Here's one more picture that I wasn't given a chance to upload in my last post.
I'll also add that Bono probably misheard the woman say "Mexico" when he was trying to recall the first venue U2 played in Chicago. Many people around the stage were shouting "Metro" - which is the place were many young rock bands make their city debut. Back then it would have been called "Cabaret Metro." My guess is that's where U2's first Chicago show really was as Park West is a bigger venue and I have my doubts whether the band was big enough at the time to be booked there. I suspect that perhaps once Bono recognized the name "Park West" as a place that they band played that he took it and ran with it as being the first place it played. In any case, maybe there's a fan out there who knows for sure where the band first played in the Windy City.
