Amazing concert!
I had gone to the Saturday concert (which I thought was also good), but not the next two (when the cameras were rolling). This one was my 13th U2 concert and it ranks right up there as one of the best.
It may have something to do with being able to get inside the ellipse (I never got Into The Heart during the Elevation tour), and having my friend get up on the catwalk with our anti-indifference banner. And, I finally brought in a camera to the concert (kinda thought we weren't supposed to do that).
Loved them opening with Vertigo. I figured that opening with Love and Peace Saturday and City of Blinding Lights the next two shows, they'd be doing Love and Peace again, but I got Vertigo and loved it.
Glad I got to hear Original of the Species (which was not on their set list) and Until the End of the World (as always--ROCKS in concert).
Loved their song choices!
Too bad Edge and Adam had limited mobility this night, but Bono made up for it.
Can't wait to see them in Minneapolis in September (man, that's going to be a long wait!!)
Thanks to everyone who sent in reviews of all the Chicago shows and especially those who sent photos. It's nice to re-live the concert.
