The Black Eyed Peas were a great opener for U2. They really tried to get the party started, but half the crowd was late and the other half sat on their hands during the performance. Where was the love for The Black Eyed Peas.
U2 once again nailed their live performance. I have followed U2 shows since Achtung Baby all over the Western US and they are still the best live show. U2's performance of their new material was much better than the studio version, typical for U2, except Moment of Surrender, the bass was not as clear and I think they could of ended the show with a more upbeat song. Magnificent, Until the End of the World, City of Blinding Lights, Vertigo, No Line on the Horizon, Elevation, Ultraviolet and Unforgettable Fire were amazing. What happened to the guitar solo at the end of Mysterious Ways? That's the best part of hearing the song live.
Thank You U2 for putting so much effort into the stage and performance for your fans. Thank you for giving props to the USA for Africa relief funds. I will look forward to seeing you in the future.
