First show- much anticipated. Band lived up to expectations in terms of showmanship and the music. I was up in the nosebleeds behind the stage, but even from there I could tell the band genuinely enjoy playing their music and connecting with the crowd. Bono needs to give up the preaching and the politics though- I saw a good number of people who were really into the show, rocking out and having a great time get up and leave when he started ranting about Bush and the US government. Leave the speeches to the politicians- we pay to enjoy good music and forget about our troubles for a couple of hours.
