I'd been a fan of U2 since 81 when I heard 'I Will Follow" on Radio 1. This was my 1st live experience and i'd gotten in free! I was stewarding for Les Lewis & Wasps. When we arrived I went to the toilet & missed Bono coming to the back of the Arena to talk to everyone. He gave my friend, Kent, a kiss on the cheek. I did watch in awe as the Edge came out and did a brief sound check. It obviously was meant to be my night. I was dispatched to stand at the front next to the stage. I had the best view in the house. What an experience, what a night! There has never been a band like U2. This was the 1st time in the UK that anyone had heard Streets or Bullet or With Or Without You live!! An amazing spiritual experience! And im just glad that i've been to at least one gig where they finished with 40.Totally blown away!
