BC Place is located in Vancouver, Canada
BC Place opened in 1983 as a multi-use stadium with an air-supported roof. It was renovated extensively for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Following the Olympics, BC Place was again renovated, with its inflatable roof being replaced with the largest cable supported retractable roof in the world.
The stadium is home to the CFL's BC Lions and the Vancouver Whitecaps of the MLS. BC Place was built with the capability of concerting into a baseball stadium should a MLB franchise be awarded to Vancouver and it has hosted MLB exhibition games.
