Comments: The traditional Christmas Eve busk organized by Glen Hansard was replaced for a second year by pre-recorded performances in closed locations due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Bono's performance was recorded at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin in the days before it aired on Christmas Eve. He performed an emotional "Running to Stand Still" with a group of musicians that included Hansard.

The Simon Christmas Eve Busk was livestreamed at on the Dublin Simon Community YouTube channel.
