It has been over 2 hours since the show has ended and now I am sitting here writting this review of the show....
U2 to me is a band that represents the world....but tonite it didn't feel like that at all, it just felt like a normal old rock and roll show..and U2 just proved that they are nothing more than just another band out there, and human just like everyone else.
I had Golden Circle seats, but to be honest I would have loved to be on the floor it looked like fun down there. I still enjoyed the show at any cost, but to be honest I miss Zoo Tv, that was rock and roll man.
Anyways, the crowd was into it, had no idiots around me this time so it made the show even more enjoyable...the beginning was good, but after mysterious ways the show sort of took a downfall for a while songs like stuck and kite didn't exactly get me riled up, in fact it started boring everyone in my section. Hearing "Out of control" was a very nice surprise and seems like it will be a rarity on this tour, so I consider myself lucky to have heard it.
Once Sunday Bloody Sunday hit everyone started really REALLY getting into it, once all the classics were there everyone starting really getting into the show.
The girl who got to lie down on the heart with Bono during WOWY will remember this for the rest of her life. Only dissapointment with the show was it just barely made it to 2 hours and what happened to The Fly????? I was so ready for that and it never showed up, same thing with Still haven't found...and Angel of Harlem, where did they go? and only 20 songs????
anyway to end this ACC acoustics are just plain terrible...LOL But I am thankful to have seen U2 and thank the person who gave me the chance to get tickets to go see em......will I ever see them again??? hmmmm to be honest, their best days are behnid em now....remember when they sat around and were wondering after they did "ONE" if they could do any better?
