Hiya!
I'm still on a high after the two Toronto shows. Originally I didn't have tickets for Thursday's show, only for Friday but at the last minute someone I know had an extra. Bless his heart. I have two views of the shows, Thursday GA on the floor, being short I lost sight of the band often. Couldn't see a blasted thing. Bono's voice was weak that night but I figure the reason he was off was because they hadn' t played together since May 16th or so. But you could feel the energy of the lads being back together after their mini-break.
Friday night was awesome. Had the Golden Circle tix and it was worth every penny. Perfect view of the band. They were much more together musically as well, and much more responsive to the crowd. Highlight for me, Bono on the piano playing Sweetest Thing. Went down to Much afterwards, it was mad but good fun eventho I was too far back, couldn't see or hear.
I will never tire of seeing U2 live. They are simply the best band in the world.
cheers!
