U2//Vertigo//2005...Words can't describe how great this concert was! Two and a half hours straight of U2 was the best! From the time it started until the end, everyone was on their feet singing, dancing and having the greatest time of their lives! The lights, the sound, the atmosphere was simply overwhelming. The roar of the crowd filled throughout the Air Canada Centre as Bono, The Edge and the rest of U2 played their hearts out. My ears are still throbbing from last night. Sunday Bloody Sunday, Vertigo, Pride (In The Name Of Love) and all of the songs that were played were fantastic. He dedicated Sometimes You Can’t Make It On Your Own for his Father who passed away three years ago. Bono should definitely win a Noble Peace Prize for the concert and everything else he puts on for us. He showed all the less fortunate people, and said how we must do our best to help out everyone. He then sang Miss Sarajevo which he once did with Luciano Pavarotti. He then told us how we have to do our best to be “One”, which led to their next song. With a numerous amount of encores, U2 ended the show with pride and inspiration that touched the sold out crowd. Bono, keep reaching out to a world that is reluctant to helping their fellow brothers and sisters. Your hard work and dedication will open those doors so we can live as one.
