Over the years I've seen U2 several times in an array of different venues. In all those performances, I've never heard the audience as loud as it was at this show. Even Bono, at the end of "Streets", remarked how amazing he thought it was. Larry, Adam and Edge (he's from the future you know) were about as tight as can be. It was truly a special night. While we didn't need the spanish lessons, we certainly took the opportunity to count to "14" at the beginning of "Vertigo". And if there was a moment of pure excitement and passion in the room, it was plainly evident during "Sunday Bloody Sunday" as the crowd REALLY got into it then. "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" was touching as it was Bob Hewson's birthday and Bono proclaimed that he still misses his dad. But in keeping with the celebratory mood, we also got to sing Happy Birthday to Bono's guitar tech, Phil. I think he was a bit surprised to be pulled out onstage. In all, a great "kiss" for Miami.
