It was a Beautiful Day!! U2 performance at Miami was fabulous, thrilling, exciting… not only The Edge, but they all have to come from the future! It was not my first show (I saw the Pop Mart at Chile in 1998) but that magic of having them so close like the first time was intact. I think November 13th, 2005, as an icon date, and I imagine myself being and old man and even getting excited remembering this wonderful and amazing experience. Moreover, I went to these two shows with one of my best friends who is also a U2 fan and who introduced me to U2 ten years ago making me listen to the Joshua Tree.
I bought the tickets 10 months before the show!! So when the show ended I just couldn’t believe that it was over. Each time a song ended I felt some kind of happiness because a new one was starting but nostalgic about the one ending.
My personal highlights were Miss Sarajevo in which Bono let the crowd astonished singing Pavarotti’s part; Who’s Gonna Ride your Wild Horses, Stuck in a moment, City of Blinding Lights, Sometimes you can’t make it on your own, and son on and son on… in general, it was great the devotion of the band towards its show and how it was fully corresponded by a really loud and delighted crowd. That night, U2 really took us to that place called Vertigo…
