this was my second U2 show, my first being the night before in Houston. it was without a doubt the best and now most memorable night of my life. easily the best concert experience ever, and i have been to a ton of them. no band can even come close.
after sitting behind the stage in Houston, waking up at 7am and driving the 4 hrs back to Dallas to get in line at 1pm I screamed like a school girl when i got chosen to be in the ellipse. I'll never forget that moment, so much anticipation and excitment at once, it was overwhelming.
myself and my wife were dead center, about 2-3 people back from the stage. i've never sang/screamed so mucn in my life, every song, every moment. The set list was nearly the same as the night before but it didn't matter. The big surprise was of course ANGEL OF HARLEM, which was even a shocker to the band. What a moment it was.
i could go on forever, but i won't. my picts are from a crappy disposable camera, they don't do it justice, but you can at least tell our vantage point.
CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE THE BAND TWO MORE TIMES AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN IN NYC IN 3 WEEKS!!!!!!!!
