What a night!
My first impression wasn't good because we had bad seets in the Arena and also there were problems with the sound during the soundchecks, but when the band came up there was a real thrill in the crowd and the sound was ok, even in the Arena
The opening was just brilliant: Vertigo, I will follow, Electric Co and Elevation just keep the audience bouncing.
Then a sort of Greatest hits part with New years day, Beautiful day and (all time live favourites) Still havent found and All i want is you. Those two songs are so brilliant live!
From the new songs were my favourites Blinding lights and Love and peace (ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT live experience)
Then SBS, what can i say
After Bullet came my all time favourite Running to stand still, what a thrill!
Pride and Streets, these songs let (the Amsterdam crowd) see that U2 is the best band in the world!
followed by a great performance of One.
Zoo station and the fly remindes me of ZOO TV.
With or without you (with great lightning effects) was my second best experience of the evening.
The last encore was a bit strange. All because of you was ok there, but Yahweh, wich is a good song, was a bit strange to hear in that position in the setlist.
Also a second version of Vertigo, was a bit to for me, but ok it was a real thrill this evening.
Looking forward to friday and hope they will play a different set. Suggestions, End of the world, "40" , and BAD!
See you guys next friday!
