Having made the effort to travel over from Brighton (England) to see a band I have loved for 20 years, but never managed to see live, I was hugely moved and inspired. The music sounded so familiar and yet it contained so much more through the live performance.
I did not arrive at the arena early enough to stand a chance of getting in the inner ring but I ended up about 20 feet back from the inner barrier on the right of the stage. I was close enough to see the boys clearly and in the thick of those madly jumping up and down.
Before reading the other reviews I knew we had been at something extraordinary, but to know we have witnessed some U2 firsts makes it all the more special.
I'm not going to wait another 20 years before seeing them live again!
