Although it has been quite sometime but i have been on the road. I am currently backpacking in europe and plan my itineary to fit U2 into my schedules.
What can i say.... U2 were fantastic... bono voice is great, and edge´s guitar riffs is truelly magnificent... they really worked the crowd that night... there was nobody sitting down throughout the whole concerts. I have always wanted to experince Bono played Sunday bloody sunday since the 80s and this was the first time. however, i would have to say it is short of my expectation as compared to during elevation tour and even the Rattle and Hum days..Overall, it was a great concerts in a great stadium with the ever cheerful people of barcelona... thanx U2, thanx Nou Camp, thanx barcelona...
One final thing, we couldn´t get our tickets from internet sales early on..and we did not want to buy it of ebay (a matter of both principle and money). We hangout outside the stadium and scalpers were selling the tixs at euro150 each which is preposterous. We keep our grounds of not encouraging the scalpers. 45 minutes before the show, i checked the ticket window and there were uncollected tickets. in the end, we got good tickets at face value!! all i say, a lot of scalpers couldn´t sell their tickets that night!! serves them right...
