I had the pleasure of attending the show with my wife and 2 daughters and it was as good as any concert I have seen. The Stones in 1989 at Carter Finley had been my favorite, but U2 may have surpassed that show. The stage show was an unforgetable experience, and they played an outstanding mix of old and new hits (Magnificent, No Line on the Horizon, New Year's Day, Mysterious Ways, Beautiful Day, Vertigo, Walk On, One, Where the Streets have no Name...).
U2's energy, presence, and interaction with the crowd made the evening an unforgetable experience. I ended up purchasing the tickets off the internet for $175 each, but we all agreed it was well worth the price. This was my first opportunity to see U2, and in the future I will not hesitate to purchase tickets and travel 4+ hours again.
My only negative feedback would be directed at the State of NC and the City of Raleigh for the horrible traffic flow entering the area. It took me 85 minutes to move 0.3 miles according to my GPS.
If they are coming to your area, don't miss out on one of the greatest concerts you will ever see.
