Re U2 concert, Wednesday 15 June 2005, City of Manchester Stadium.
'Boy' did 'One' 'Rattle and Hum' with 'Vertigo' at last nights concert. My voice is hoarse today andmy knees are crippling me with all that singing, shouting, jumpting and dancing. What an awesome and spectacular 'party'.
I didn't think the audience got going until several songs in; could have been the daylight as when the lighting brightened it all kicked off into one heck of a party.
Where I was sitting everyone around me was going wild with excitement, even the pensioners in the row in front of me.
It was an awesome show with a great mixture of classics and new; U2 were better than ever!
