My Group of 5 Canadians met with a German, Liverpudlian, and a Peruvian and We got in line at 10 am so we could get inside the circle. Found a spot dead centre with the runway at our back. Kasabian was great -- the audience though seemed indifferent.
U2 played an energetic set beginning to end. My faves were Return of thestingray guitar, Beautiful Day, End of the World, Hold Me thrill me... The audience was impressed with Bono's remarks concerning the German Dr. and also the dedication to the Love Parade victims.
Overall this was one of the best concerts for U2.
